I am a trained, professional freelance journalist and media consultant.
An NCTJ journalist, I am a former staff reporter on a daily newspaper and features editor of a leading national press agency.
I am an award-winning freelance journalist and have written for leading national papers and magazines for more than 15 years, including The Guardian, The Times, The Financial Times, The Daily Mail, The Independent, The Sunday Times, Prospect Magazine, The Daily Express, Health & Fitness, Psychologies, Top Sante and Women’s Running.
For the last seven years I have run my own media business alongside the freelance journalism. Liz Hollis Media offers PR, press release strategy and writing, commercial copywriting, digital content, corporate storytelling, social media content, blog strategy, content marketing and editing.
I recently completed a post-graduate diploma in psychology at the Open University and was awarded a first-class distinction. I am a member of the British Psychological Society (Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership). I have a first class degree in French and Philosophy and a Masters in Communication and Culture from the University of East Anglia.
